This is the last day of LisbonFashionWeek / ModaLisboa.
Many shows with amazing collections, desire pieces, and many people creating wish-lists!
I have to say that this edition was very good. We noticed the lack of some partners, but ModaLisboa stayed stronger than ever. This time the shows where much better, the designers evolution were noticed and the strenght to continue in a better way was visible and accepted by everyone.
We stay here, waiting six month's till the next Fall edition... in March 2013!

Muitos desfiles com colecções muito boas, peças desejáveis e muitas listas de desejos a criarem-se!
Tenho de dizer que esta edição correu muito bem. Notou-se a falta de patrocinadores, mas a ModaLisboa manteve-se mais forte que nunca. Desta vez os desfiles foram muito melhores, a evolução dos designer foi notável e a força de continuar para a frente, num caminho melhor foi visível e aceite por todos.
Nós continuamos aqui a espera, seis meses, até a próxima edição de Inverno... já em Março 2013!
Say My Name
With a more colorful collection than last season, this time the colors that made us happy were white, orange and green. The volumes in the pieces and the assimetrical cuts were unexpected and created a surprise factor. Other strong point on this collection were the scientific prints created by the designer, inspired in labs and chemistry.
Com uma colecção muito mais colorida que na última estação, desta vez as cores que nos fizeram felizes foram o branco, o laranja e o verde. Os volumes nas peças e os cortes assimétricos foram inesperados e criaram o factor surpresa. Outro ponto forte da colecção foram os prints científicos criados pela designer, que foram inspirados em laboratórios e química.

Always thinking outside of the box, this season his universe turns around heart-shapes, little ponys and colorful unicorns. He call's it 'Reborn' a new masterpiece that means a nem start in life, however we want it to be. Many things were made in 'crochet', mixed with fun pieces and crazy prints, living together in a fantasy land created specificly for this show.
Sempre a pensar 'fora da caixa', esta estação o seu universo gira a volta de corações, pequenos póneis e coloridos unicórnios. Ele chama-lhe 'Reborn', uma nova estrutura que significa um novo começo na vida, seja como for que a quisermos. Muitas peças foram feitas com croché e misturadas com coisas divertidas e prints coloridos, estando juntas num universo de fantasia criado especifica mente para este 'espectáculo'.
Aleksandar Protic
Surprisingly I liked very much this Protic collection... Naturally he's always in a dark mood, desconstructured silhuettes, but sometimes very agressive. This time I found it more sweet, or may I say soft? The colors helped a lot, white's and pastels made me see more about the silhuette and the pieces. The shoes were absolutely beautiful, and for me this is the point that Protic has to stay more times! I liked it a lot!
Surpreendentemente eu gostei muito desta colecção de Protic... Naturalmente ele tem sempre um lado obscuro, com silhuetas desconstruídas e por vezes muito agressivas. Desta vez encontrei uma colecção mais doce, ou devo dizer suave? As cores ajudaram muito, brancos e 'pasteis' fizeram-me ver mais sobre a silhueta e as peças. Os sapatos eram lindos e para mim este é o ponto em que Protic se deve continuar a focar! Gostei muito!

He's living by now in Lisbon, summer is coming and the financial crisis is not a good help! This three points were much big influences to this collection. It's not common but almost all the collection were in black and white, behind that we just notice some points of blue or gold. I found it a much serious collection. As always the center-piece were the jackets, side-by-side with bow's and white shirts. With this show came a bit of a protest against the financial situation of our country, with models walking with sad faces, in shirts saying "I just want to be happy"... Maybe Fashion can help it. Do you believe that?
Ele está a viver agora em Lisboa, o Verão há-de chegar e a crise financeira não está a servir de ajuda! Estes três pontos foram grandes influências para esta colecção. Não é comum, mas a maior parte da colecção foi em preto e branco, à parte disso só se notaram alguns pontos de azul ou dourado. Eu vi-a como uma colecção muito séria. Como sempre a peça central é o casaco, que esteve lado-a-lado com laços e camisas brancas. Com este desfile veio também um modo de protesto contra a crise financeira do nosso país, os
modelos desfilaram com caras tristes, com t-shirts a dizer "Eu quero é ser feliz"... Talvez a Moda possa ajudar. Acreditas nisso?

For the first time the unic Portuguese brand that sells at Opening Ceremony, had the pleasure to walk the 'big runway' at ModaLisboa. Staying with their signature styling, we can notice a lot of purity in those pieces. The white were always present, and the lightness of fabrics were noticed. The denim dresses and skirts, also very recognizable from the brand were also there with flowers making this 'grunge' style more girly.
Pela primeira vez a única marca Portuguesa que vende na Opening Ceremony, teve o prazer de desfilar pela 'grande passerele' da ModaLisboa. Mantendo o seu styling de assinatura, conseguimos notar muita pureza em todas as peças. O branco esteve sempre presente e a leveza dos tecidos foi notada. Os vestidos e saias em ganga, também muito reconhecidos da marca estiveram presentes com flores, que tornaram este estilo 'grunge' mais feminino.
Dino Alves
It was absolutely one of the best show at this PULSE edition! The concept: imagine a large old house, at the top a majestic chandelier covered by paper and tape. Now turn that concept to clothes and human body. That's it! Like in many collections the concept many times isn't noticed or really aplied, but this time we can notice it in the construction of the pieces, at the cuts and details. Many of the pieces are wearable on the streets. I loved the mini-skirts with shirts envolved with tape and the short dresses. The masculine collection had very good-lokin' long shirts, that for me were new and much acceptable! Well done.
Foi absolutamente um dos melhores desfiles desta edição PULSE. O conceito: imagina uma mansão antiga, no tecto um majestoso candelabro coberto de papel e fita-adesiva. Agora, adapta esse conceito a roupa, ao corpo humano. É isso! Mas, como em muitas colecções os conceitos muitas vezes não são notados ou realmente aplicados, desta vez podemos mesmo notá-lo na construção das peças, nos cortes e nos detalhes. Muitas das peças são usáveis na rua. Amei as mini saias com camisolas envolvidas com fita e os vestidos mais curtos. A colecção masculina teve uma peça muito boa, a camisa comprida, que para mim é uma novidade, muito bem aceitável! Muito bem.
Miguel Vieira
The last show of the season. After many shows and four intensive days, we just don't know what to expect next. But Miguel Vieira had the chance to open the eyes of everyone with a majestic and very colorful collection. It was really a nice surprise! The color was in everything... Amazing silhuettes, prints stripes and neon shoes were noticed in both collections, man and women. My favourite pieces at womenswear were the bird prints in absolutely magnificent looks, even it is a dress, top or shorts, it was beautiful. At the mens collection my favourite piece were the yellow blazer with stripes, or the jacket with same effect. It was a really strong collection, very cohesive and structured. It's so great to have finally a great colorful collection by the 'master of black'! I have to notice, also, the accessories, even if its shoes, bags, clutch's or jewellry it was beautiful. Even if it's a really 'comercial' collection it was VERY good! So THANK YOU, for that.
O último desfile da estação. Depois de muitos desfiles e quatro dias intensivos, já não sabemos o que havemos de esperar. Mas, Miguel Vieira teve a oportunidade de nos abrir os olhos com uma majestosa e muito colorida colecção. Foi mesmo uma boa surpresa! A cor esteve em todo o lado... Silhuetas fantásticas, prints, riscas e sapatos néon foram notados em ambas as colecções, feminina e masculina. As minhas peças favoritas da colecção de mulher foram os prints de pássaros em looks absolutamente incríveis, seja em vestidos, tops ou calções, eram todos bonitos. Na colecção masculina a minha peça favorita foi o blazer ás riscas amarelo, ou o casaco com o mesmo efeito. Tudo isto ligou-se numa colecção muito forte, coesa e bem estruturada. É tão bom ver finalmente uma colecção colorida nas mão do 'mestre do preto'!
Também tenho de destacar os diversos acessórios, sejam eles sapatos, malas, clutchs ou joelharia era tudo lindo. Mesmo sendo uma colecção muito 'comercial' o resultado é BOM! Portanto, muito OBRIGADO.
