'Inside the Mothership'

Probably this became my favorite Summer'14 collection from Milan.

Karl has reinvented Fendi, idealizing the blossom to one of the best Italian Fashion Houses, that has become more technologic, desirable and stronger.

Loïc Prigent, as the favorite film-maker from the Fashion industry was an insider in this Fendi's season, idealizing a memorable documentary called 'Inside the Mothership' ... making possible for us to appreciate the life and buzz of Fendi's headquarters in Milan.

You just have to see it! Now, my love for Fendi is just growing day after day!

Chanel | Cruise 2014

Before Chanel's last collection as Métiers D'Art in Dallas (wich I will talk about later...), weeks ago this time in Singapore, Karl presented the Cruise collection for 2014.

Karl presented a collection not to be called pre-collection, because is as vast and various as any other ready-to-wear collection. This one with the spirit of Resort were spoted in Singapore. Why? The label has six stores there, and counting... So the business have to roll, and that made Lagerfeld added some local culture to the collection.

He 'reinvented the details'...

"I like to travel, but not as a tourist. When I travel, it’s work," he said."What I hate most is to feel isolated."

About the fact that he wasn’t interested in designing a studied themed-show for the occasion...

"I research with instinct. There are vague impressions of this part of the world only—except for one thing. I came across a photograph from the 1880s of a local fisherman wearing a four-pocket jacket and wide pants. Really quite Chanel, no?"

This were some of my favourite looks from the Runway...

I can see a more 'brilliant', young and creative Chanel, than ever before.

After the show, were presented the new short-film called 'Once Upon a Time...' starring Keira Knightley, Clotilde Hesme, and a “family” of Chanel models and friends. It imagines the scene as Gabrielle Chanel tries to sell her first collections...

Karl's favorite for SpringSummer'14

Karl Lagerfeld talks about Chanel's SpringSummer 2014 collection... showcased at the Grand Palais in an 'Art Gallery' with beautiful accessories, colorful painted-eyes with an incredible ready-to-wear collection.
What was uncle Karl's favorite thing?

"My favorite thing is the new necklace like an earphone, it's two huge pearls, but in fact it's very flattering because the huge pearls give a beautiful light on the girl's face."

Milan Fashion Week | SpringSummer'13 ... Fendi, Gucci and Roberto Cavalli

We are stiil in Milan, and here are more of the best shows, this season!

If you like graphics,and stylish things, go Fendi.

If you love strong, colourful dresses, day or evening, Gucci is the way.

But if you are relaxed, sexy and bohemian, all at the same time... I think you're a Cavalli girl.

Many choices, and sense-of-style's to every women. That's Fashion Week. No matter if you are big or small, black or white...

If you have style, you still in Fashion, baby! ;)

Fendi

I must say that I love Karl Lagerfeld's work at Fendi.It's always very graphic and luxurious, but with a fun twist. It's always innovative in cutting-leather, silhouettes, and accessories. like the very popular sunglasses, the bags and shoes, of course! This time I loved the colours, all that magnificent blocks of sweet colour cut by hand making beautiful and elegant pieces.

The shoes were absolutely gourgeous, and the way that they introduced the famous Fendi 'baguette' along side with a bigger bag, was impresive! The final dresses with fireworks effects were beautiful, and the final all-sequins dress, and 'baguette', walked by Joan Smalls, were really the masterpiece of this collection!

Gucci

Gucci is here to set trends. The block colors in total look are here to stay! This was such an impressive and powerful show. The long dresses with so much big ruffles, and strong colors, always attached to the neck, making it more elegant. The colar details were amazing, it seems like couture, and it gives so much oppulence to the dress! After the colour, I also loved the black and white set of dresses. So elegant, pure and modern... The 'twiggy' make-up make it better, strong eyes is always a match point.

And Anja Rubik walking that long white dress with that cleavage, amazing sleeves and those eyes... Oh Lord... I can't even look!!!

Roberto Cavalli

Last Season Roberto Cavalli was impressive. And this season he's still here to killed it! This casual but always bohemian girl is here to show us what it feels like to have real sexyness in lifestyle. Amazing pure white looks with so much hand-crafted work, make those pieces be really special and so good in details. All the dresses had some touch of lace, always so sexy and pure, making the women more wanted and fatale. Did you see those trousers with striped leather? God, that is massive!

I also loved all the black section at the end of the show. So much lace, cuts on the body, beautiful jackets and strong womens...

Did you ever think that Cavalli was goin' wrong? Now he's in a good way, again. And this is a trully message of bohemian-sexyness!
