& Other Stories | Spring 2013

Spring sees the launch of new Swedish fashion brand '& Other Sories'.

It's a new brand from H&M and is offering ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, accessories and beauty, with make-up according to the collection, with the colours changing with the season to complement the clothes...

With ateliers in Paris and Stocholm, the idea behind the brand is to give women freedom of expression across one label - from cool modernism to a more romantic side.

With the clothing designed by two design duos, garments from different themes are encouraged to be mixed, creating personal edits of their looks.

So far so enigmatic.

Here's a video premier of 'Ocean Print' from their upcoming SS13 debut, featuring designer Behnaz Aram, ahed of the brands official channels.

These are some of my favourite pieces from 'Maison Martin Margiela x H&M' Collection for Men and Women...

From party-dresses and every-day trousers and coats to sexy-jackets.
It's a controversial collection, but true and very loyal to the brand's DNA. Some of the pieces are from past collections of Margiela, and here you have the chance to have it and afford it!

Depois de ter contacto com as peças pessoalmente, tive uma noção das peças completamente diferente! As peças em cashemira são completamente divinais e os acessórios de mulher são excelentes! Bonitos e ousados. :)

H&M Spring2012 / Versace for H&M Collaboration

Hello Everyone!

Hoje venho mostrar-vos a nova coleccção H&M para o Verão 2012. Estive no Showroom e a coleccção tem peças muito boas! Cores fortes, tons neon e muitos estampados estão presentes em toda a colecção, feita de peças maioritariamente leves, mas cheias de personalidade. Gostei muito das peças mais simples de tom branco, e apontamentos azuis e também dos acessórios coloridos e nada monótonos!

Também no Showroom, estava presente a nova colecção da tão esperada colaboração da H&M com a Versace para o ano 2011. Gostei muito de ver as peças pessoalmente, poder tocar e entrar um bocadinho no mundo Versace! Desde os famosos 'malibu' prints estampados em vestidos, calças e t-shirts, passando pelos vestidos de pele recheados de tachas e até dos tons mais vivos que Gianni Versace gostava tanto de mencionar... Nesta visita consegui decididamente escolher as minhas peças preferidas, que vou querer comprar já esta semana, no dia 17 de Novembro,  na H&M do Chiado, a única loja que venderá a colecção em Portugal.

The Dream...

"H&M approached us to collaborate, and to see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less," says Elbaz. "I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public. This has been an exceptional exercise, where two companies at opposite poles can work together because we share the same philosophy of bringing joy and beauty to men and women around the world."


The collaboration between Lanvin and H&M has been confirmed. Designed by the label's artistic director Alber Elbaz, and head of menswear Lucas Ossendrijver, the new line will arrive in stores November 23.
The new range will be unveiled to the world on November 2 through a special film.
